“You have taught me that you must always be yourself.

Not to the degree that is comfortable to others, not on occasion, but always”.

In March 2018, Caroline’s late grandmother asked her and her six cousins what she had taught them. It was on her death bed, not the most joyful of occasions.

Caroline asked her the question back: she asked her grandmother what she had taught her. After a brief moment, her late grandmother taught something very important back to her as she responded:

“You have taught me that you must always be yourself. Not to the degree that is comfortable to others, not on occasion, but always”.

Upon graduating with a Double Degree in Marketing Management from Bocconi University and Copenhagen Business School, Caroline curated communications and PR, and later on the full reconstruction and rebranding of Ristorante Tokuyoshi. As it closed its doors on March 8th 2020, she was instrumental in launching Bentoteca.

Alongside her studies, Caroline has always worked in hospitality. After an academic semester in France she spent two months at Tenuta di Capezzana in Tuscany. Long table dinners at Distortion, and assisting an edition of White Guide kept her from getting bored. After a year at Deloitte, she moved to Milan to finish her academic studies.

Today, she divides her time between Superb where she is a product marketeer, and Confine, where she directs communication, brand work and collaborations. Caroline also hosts and produces her own podcast Cured, and consults.

She strives to bring her most true self to all of it. Caroline is based in Milan, Italy.
